Privacy notice
Written from what the database actually stores, not from a template. If you want any of it removed, email and it is gone.
Who is responsible

What is stored, and why

What is never stored
- Card numbers or any payment details. Nothing on the site is sold.
- Your precise location. Nothing on the site asks for it.
- Your activity on other websites.
- The full address of the page that referred you, so search terms you typed elsewhere never reach us.
Who else sees it
- Google Analytics, which gives us aggregate visitor numbers. It sets its own cookies. Blocking it costs you nothing on this site; our own counting works without it.
- An email delivery service, which receives your address and the message when we send you a confirmation link or a briefing, and nothing else.
- Railway, which hosts the application and the database, and Cloudflare, which serves the domain.
Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with advertisers or data brokers.
Cookies and local storage
- A first-party session cookie when you are signed in. Essential, and removed when you sign out.
- A random visitor id in your browser's local storage, so a page view is not counted twice. It never leaves your browser except as that random string.
- Google Analytics cookies, which you can block with any content blocker.
How long it is kept
Account data and your simulations stay until you delete the account. If you unsubscribe from the briefing, the address is kept only as a record that you opted out, so you are never added back by mistake; ask and it is deleted. Page counts and share events are aggregated and kept indefinitely, as they are not tied to a person once the account is gone.
Your rights
Email teamwarscape@gmail.com and you can get a copy of what is stored about you, have it corrected, or have the account and its data deleted. There is no form and no waiting list. Deletion removes the account, its simulations, and the email on any share records.
Children
The site is not aimed at children and accounts are not knowingly created for anyone under 16. If one exists, email and it will be removed.
Changes
If what is collected changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated. See also the terms and the data sources behind the model.
